Raw wood planks in a sunlit workshop
The Process

Three steps. No shortcuts.

01

Select

Every plank is hand-chosen for grain character, structural integrity, and the way it catches light. We reject more wood than we keep.

02

Shape

Joinery by hand where it matters. Mortise and tenon, dovetail, finger joints — techniques that have held furniture together for centuries.

03

Finish

Hand-rubbed oil finishes that protect while letting the wood breathe. No lacquer, no plastic coating. Just wood, oil, and patience.

Honest materials. Nothing to hide.

White Oak

White Oak

Prized for its tight grain and warm honey tones. Each plank is hand-selected for character, then air-dried to let the wood settle into its natural strength.

American Walnut

American Walnut

Deep chocolate hues with swirling grain patterns that make every piece unique. Our walnut is sourced from managed forests in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Full-grain Leather

Full-grain Leather

Untreated and unfinished — this leather develops a rich patina over years of use. Every mark tells a story, every crease a memory.

Brass Hardware

Brass Hardware

Solid unlacquered brass that ages gracefully alongside the wood. No coatings, no polish — just honest material doing honest work.
